Hello

Friday, we went out to lunch with Talia, a fellow post-doc from Kyle's lab. She got a fabulous job in Germany that she's leaving for in two days. The lunch was a farewell and a chance for her to meet Hayes. She came bearing gifts, including this beautiful piggy bank from Kyle's labmates. Now, we can begin teaching him the importance of saving! Here, Hayes is being silly...

Contented after his first tub bath---no more sponge baths since his belly button is healed up! He really did like the bath--he didn't make a peep as we placed him in the tub and washed him. He must've enjoyed it because he's now looking for excuses to get back in the tub for another dip, like peeing all over himself. What a jokester!
Puddy claiming the new blanket that was sent by Aunt Gillian, Uncle Casey, and Cousin Lilah. They also sent some kitty toys, which Puddy left for Jax and Anya, who very much appreciate them now that they aren't getting our attention whenever they want it.

We're going to get him weighed again tomorrow to check his progress. I'm hoping this round belly is indicative of a large gain!
