The cats have been starved for attention, poor things. They're having a hard time not being our focus anymore. Jax is pretty stand-offish, not really wanting anything to do with Hayes, even though I try to introduce them to each other...
And Anya began by completely ignoring Hayes. Now, she figures "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!" Here, she just plopped right down on Hayes' legs to make sure she was in petting distance of Kyle's hands.
Hayes has been awake a bit more lately. It's neat to have him in your arms wide-eyed and curious looking. (I should amend that to say that it's neat when it happens during the DAY...) He does sleep quite a bit still, though, as evidenced by these sweet pictures of him snoozing. The video is quite boring, once again, but shows him awake--it's more for the grandparents and aunts and uncles than anything else. We'll post more pictures tomorrow or Monday.
