Summer Vacation in Florida Part 2

We went out a couple nights while we were in Florida, which was like heaven!  Adult conversations, no interruptions by shrieking children, and most importantly, french fries cooked in duck fat----those were some divinely inspired fries!

We rented a pontoon boat for a beautiful day on the water. Here are some pictures of our day:

Delusions of grandeur???

One tuckered out baby...

And another tuckered out baby:
Fisher was so proud of driving the boat:

The week was filled with lots of firsts for the boys.  We took the older boys (Kellen and Hayes) on a tubing trip/float down a river, which was the first time for Hayes. The 5 and 3 year olds got to go see the movie Turbo, which was the first time Fisher went to the movie theater.  The boys went to see their first baseball game.  Hayes' favorite part was all the junk food he got to eat...

...including blue snowcones!

How about this view from the stadium?
Fisher's favorite part, surprisingly enough, was watching the fireworks after the game was over.  This was coming from the kid who doesn't like loud noises!
Chris and Cindy also have a neighborhood dock, perfect for putting out a crab trap with some chicken necks.  Hayes' first time pulling up a crab trap:
Checking out the blue crabs:
I love a good baking project with the big kids.  They made shark cupcakes with blue icing:
Sweet nieces:
Campbell fell in love with boiled peanuts---who can blame her, she's got Southern blood runnin' through her veins!

Chris and Cindy have a beautiful new house with the perfect playroom set up.  The couch was a favorite place to sit, jump, sleep, launch, roll, etc:

Thank you, Chris and Cindy, for such a wonderful week.  We had an absolute blast on our vacation with you!
