Fall has begun: Soccer and Apple Picking!

A sure sign that the weather is changing is the beginning of soccer and apple picking.  Both boys are playing soccer on Saturday mornings.  They don't actually play any games yet---it's more of an intro to soccer.  Here is our cool Fisher on his first day:
Complete with PINK soccer cleats!  The boy still loves his pink!  (We figure Campbell will get to wear them in a year or two.)
Hayes and his team with his very energetic soccer coach:
Goofing around with best bud TJ:
Action shot:
Fisher was a little shy the first day and didn't want to do a whole lot, so he came to watch Hayes with Daddy:
Cheering on her brother from the sidelines:
He's happy now that he got to play with a pink ball!
We visited our local orchard, Johnny Appleseed's, to pick apples. Hayes was off and running:
Big Daddy and Little Fisher:
Kyle's favorite-- Jonagolds!  (they've become my faves as well)
Double fisting the apples---and trying to bite into them with the side of his mouth to avoid a loose tooth at the front:
We may not love everything about living in CT, but it sure is beautiful country from up here!

In the pumpkin field below the orchards:

The boys helped peel/slice/core the apples that Kyle used to make applesauce.  This is the best apple tool EVER, by the way.
