There is this great berry farm/apple orchard about a half hour from us. Not only can you pick a ton of different types of fruits, but they serve breakfast on Sunday mornings. It is a bare bones menu of french toast, belgian waffle, or pancakes with fresh whipped cream and whatever berry they're currently picking as a topping. We eat off of paper plates and on vinyl covered picnic tables. But holy cow is the breakfast great! If it were closer to our house, we'd probably have to go every single Sunday during the summer and fall!
Check out the view from our breakfast table:
Yum, yum---who needs pancakes when you can eat the blueberry topping straight off the spoon? There is a playground for the kids to play on before/after eating. Here is Fisher looking like a statue:
And the boys playing on the see-saw:
I really liked this picture. Campbell sat in this tunnel for a while. I finally had to get Hayes to go in and help her out:
Campbell wants to do everything her older brothers do:
If anyone wants to come and visit us up here in CT during the summer, we'd love to take you to Rose's Berry Farm!
