Week 51

Wow---we can not believe that we are one week away from Fisher being a year old.  How can that be?

During this past week, Fisher sported a nice fever for a few days and had to miss one day of school. By the end of the week, our beautiful baby boy finally started smiling again for us and resumed his 30 minute napping (1.5 hours at a time while he was sick), two sure signs of feeling better!

At school during the week, Fisher showed off his pseudo-crawling.  His teachers nick-named it the "pirate crawl" because of the way his back leg drags and looks like a peg leg.  They are not used to kids being mobile in his classroom, so we're thinking that they'll probably move him to the next baby room in the near future.

Last Sunday, Hayes and Fisher were visited by the Easter Bunny, who left them baskets with toys and also hid some eggs in the basement.  Hayes found all the eggs and very sweetly brought all of Fisher's "F" labelled eggs over to his brother, opened them for him, and revealed the puffs inside for Fisher to gobble up (that boy sure does love his puffs!).   Here is Hayes at the beginning of the search:
There must be another puff in here somewhere...
The Easter Bunny brought Hayes some new sunglasses...
...and Fisher a big red ball:

Some friends visited for dinner on Sunday and brought the boys some Bunny ears:
Because Fisher is now mobile, even if it is slow, he is into a lot of things he shouldn't be.  We need to revamp our child-proofing!  Here is Fisher getting ready to read (eat) a book:
Kyle's mom, Betty, made these super cute matching "Toy Story" pajamas for the boys, though Fisher is not wearing his top because his noggin is too big to fit through his shirt:

I feel like Fisher is really growing lately---he no longer fits in several of his old pajamas.  Apparently, he's not just growing up, but out, too----check out that boy's gut!!!
As a tribute to his Uncles: Kevin, Casey, Chris, and Derek---Fisher was sporting his "I Love My Uncle" onesie-
One last gasp at our sweet baby:
Finally, in Hayes news, he learned how to close one eye but leave the other open and he fell out of the bed for the first time.  Kyle and I heard a series of thunks overhead (his bedroom is above the living room) last night followed by him crying.  Honestly, I'm surprised this is the first time it's happened!
