Fisher has two more teeth this week, for a total of 6! I found them on accident last weekend- his upper lateral incisors. I didn't even know he was teething!
During the first half of week 48, Kyle's parents were still visiting and we had some adventures. First, we visited the North Hadley Sugar Shack, a restaurant sprung up to serve the maple syrup made on the premises. The air was thick with sweet smelling smoke, stealthily whetting our appetites during our hour and fifteen minute wait to be seated. Luckily, they have a playground and a small petting zoo area to keep kiddos entertained. Here is Fisher enjoying a swing and then going down a slide for the first time ever (with lots of support, of course):
After a wonderful meal, we visited the Connecticut Trolley Museum, where we rode a train car and then, once inside the museum, Hayes was excited to ring the bell on one of the train cars. An older boy showed him how to step on the button to ring the bell on an old commuter car and then Hayes, in turn, showed a younger boy how to do the same. Here we are riding the train:

Back at home, Hayes relaxed with Grandmama and Grandaddy:
Fisher loves balloons! The next day, while I worked, everyone else visited the New England Air Museum. Hayes hung out a lot with Grandaddy:

Hayes received a birthday package in the mail from his Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Derek, and cousins Dailyn and Lawson with a really cool "Queeny" umbrella:
They also sent a dry-erase drawing board on which Hayes surprised us by writing his name. The letters are a little wobbly and backwards, but who knew he could write his name all by himself?!?!He, and we, were so proud!!!
Hayes went to the doctor for his three year old check-up. He was 37.5 inches tall and weighed in at 32 pounds, putting him at the 50th percentile for both height and weight. He also had us cracking up laughing the other night. I asked him for a kiss and he asked me if I had a cold (I won't kiss him on/near the lips if either of us have a cold). When I said that I didn't have a cold, he informed me, "I have a warm, mommy." His R's are a little funny, so I thought he was trying to tell me he had a worm or who knows what else. He repeated himself and then we finally understood that he was saying he didn't have a cold, but a "warm." I still don't know what a "warm" is, but he was so cute telling us that!
