Holy cow, we sure are creeping up on one year---the time is galloping by. During Fisher's 50th week, he visited the orthotist who released him from 23 hour a day helmet wear. He now only has to wear it at bedtime. His assymmetry (how slanted his head was) measured at 9 mm when we started and is now down to 2 mm. So, he's had pretty good correction. We go back in a few more weeks and at that point, will most likely "graduate" from the helmet.
In other news, Fisher is doing his best to move around but still not technically crawl (which we consider to be with both hands and knees on the ground, moving in a forward direction). He pulls forward to one knee while the other leg and foot is still curled underneath for support and then scoots along. Here are a couple pictures of Fisher getting up on one knee with the other leg under:
We finally have the basement set up as a playroom for the boys with the intention of not having millions of toys in the living room. Somehow, the new rug is still littered with toys galore...I swear, kids are like tornadoes! Here are some pics of the basement:
And last but not least, here is some video footage of the "Fisher crawl:"

Fisher's crawl reminds me of Hayes when he started. :) Happy Easter to all! Love and hugs. Grandmama
I can't believe he's almost 1! He's always so smiley and happy- and his crawling is too cute! The basement looks great, too! Happy Easter!

Looks like the boys are doing great!!! I can't wait til G crawls that well or pushes up on his arms like that but I have a feeling that one day he'll just go straight to walking. Does he have PT or anything. And congrats on the almost helmet graduation!!
