To sum up this week, Hayes has been busy, busy, busy. He is not quite running yet, but boy is he moving quickly from room to room-- banging, shaking, stacking, knocking down, etc. He has learned to climb the stairs (with supervision, of course). He said his first official word (that I heard, at least)---"Emma." Emma is Hayes' little buddy at daycare--apparently, he follows her around every day. He taught her how cool it was to hold and chase little plastic balls, a favorite pastime of his. Now, they toddle about with balls in their little hands all day long! His teacher, Jen told me a few weeks ago that she thought Hayes was saying "Emma," but I didn't (want to) believe her. However, I took him in the other morning and he laid eyes on his little pal and said, "Mem-ma!" I was thrilled that I finally heard his first word, even if it was "Emma," and not "Mama." Hopefully, this doesn't indicate a ridiculously early interest in girls! Last weekend, the snow had finally melted (until the 10" we got Sun-Mon), so we decided to try taking Hayes to another playground. This time, he was able to walk around by himself and climb on the jungle-gym. Here are a few pics:

Taylor is sad that Hayes is in love with another woman. How dare he move on with his life. She will always hold on to the hope that they will be reunited again. (Even if she is bigger than him) =) So cute...I can't believe he is saying words and walking around the playgroud. Love it!
