Week 52---also Hayes' first birthday!!! This is a mostly picture blog. Today, my dad and Kyle put up Hayes' new swing in the apple tree in the backyard--where we took his last weekly picture. There is a nice video of him at the end of this post swinging and laughing at his Papa Glenn.
We took Hayes to a local playground today:
Hayes opening his birthday gifts: Gifts from Japan----the t-shirts are in "Eng-rish": Cake time: (in a goofy homemade party hat)
Refusing to feed himself: Hayes' new swing:
Happy Birthday to the best son that we could ever have hoped for---you are absolutely delightful and we love you more than a million of your smiles put together!
(I'll post another blog about my parents' visit to CT in the next few days.)
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear Hayes, Happy Birthday to you! You're such a big boy! Miss you bunches! Love, The Jeffers Family
I am married to my college sweetheart, Kyle, who is a chemist and self-professed dork. I am a dentist in a practice in Connecticut. We added our little man Hayes to the world on March 25th,2008 and twins on May 7th, 2010. We lost our precious daughter Marin two weeks after she was born. Her twin, Fisher, is thriving and is a typical 2 year old boy. Our latest addition is a precious baby girl born on June 22, 2012. We love our children dearly and are completely enamored with them. We also have three furry, four-legged kids (see below). We both grew up and went to school in SC, then lived in Kansas for a few years (GO Jayhawks!). We moved to CT for Kyle to work on faculty at UConn and are settling in to family life in a wonderful neighborhood.
