Hayes started clapping this week. He is babbling more and more---still nothing intelligible, but almost as if he's talking to and having a conversation with himself. His walking is getting better and I think he's getting taller because he has finally grown out of a lot of his 6-9 month pants. And we're finally dressing him in the 9-12 month winter clothes that have been hanging in his closet. I guess that's one good thing about a longer cold season---he'll still get some good use out of the clothes I stockpiled in the thought that he'd be wearing 9-12 month clothes while he's actually between 9-12 months old. Another plus is that we're getting more bang for our buck with the clothes since he is not outgrowing them in a month.
Here are Kyle and Hayes as they are leaving for work and "school:"

Today when I picked up Hayes from daycare, all the kids were outside enjoying the sunny, warm (38 degrees) weather. I'm such a dork, but I just had to take pictures of him because this was the first time that he has ever "played" outside. He was walking around and pushing the rolling toys with the toddlers. He looked like such a little boy and not a baby! :(

Only 4 more weeks until the big day! It seems like yesterday that we were counting down to your due date! Where has the time gone?!
I almost teared up seeing Hayes playing outside! Doesn't seem possible! I had to laugh because Taylor is already offically wearing 12 months clothes...not that we are surprised by our chunky monkey. =) We miss you guys!
