We went in to see the doctor this morning. She found me to be around 4 cm dilated. Pyle's heartbeat was in the 150's and he was showing off by having the hiccups while the doc was using the doppler. The doc basically just said that she never really figured that I'd make it to April 4th and was glad I had made it this far. She wanted to do the c-section later this week. Well, there were no openings this week except for tomorrow. So, we're having the baby tomorrow. Tomorrow at noon. Wow, right? That's kind of how Kyle and I feel---a little shell-shocked. We are nervous and anxious and happy all at the same time. We're worried about Pyle being born at 35 weeks, 5 days--that he may have trouble breathing, maintaining his temperature, feeding, etc. The worrying never stops as a parent, does it? I don't know how in the world we'll sleep tonight!
For any of you who we have not called, I'm sorry. There just seems like a whole lot to do today and we can't get to it all. I'll try to take the computer to the hospital and post pictures as soon as I am up to it.
Please everyone keep us in your thoughts and hope that Pyle comes into the world healthy.
