Week 36

Wow, another week has gone by!  Campbell is getting more comfortable going from a sitting position to laying on her belly, usually when trying to reach for something.  She is almost able to pull up on things--won't be long now.  Where has our infant gone?  We feel like we blink and she's reaching another milestone or cutting another tooth.  Slow down, time!

Ugh, winter is starting to get a little long now, especially since it will be another couple months before we can plan to spend lots of time outside.  We pulled out some colored rice for the boys to play with---it was a big hit and swept up easily.

Campbell wants in on the action:

Fisher has begun potty training (finally!).  He stayed dry all weekend with the help of potty breaks every 30 mins.  As a reward/incentive, he got a yogurt-covered raisin, an m&m, or a mini-marshmallow whenever he used the potty.  He even stayed dry for a trip to Lowe's!  We put him in a pull-up or diaper for nap and bedtime, but during the days, he wore Lightning McQueen "big boy" underwear that he picked out himself at Target.  On the way to Target on Friday, we talked about stoplights and what the colors meant.  When he pee-peed in the potty this morning, he said, "mommy, I have 'slow-down' pee-pee!"  I almost fell over laughing!  Off to school he goes tomorrow in underwear, with lots of extra pants and undies.  Wish him luck!

Here's the little stinker in a mask he made at school:
Even though she can't quite get herself up, she loves to stand and hold onto the ottoman or side of the bathtub:
Hayes is still the one to get the easiest and best laugh out of our sweet girl.  He was charged with entertaining Campbell when Kyle was getting Fisher settled after coming home from school.  All it took was him flipping his little home-made shaker in the air, and this is what resulted!

Love this video! She's lucky to have such an entertaining big brother! Yay for Fisher and his "slow-down" pee!
