Week 39/ Hayes' B-day Party

Our Campbell began crawling this week!  She is very slow moving (so far, thank goodness) and is not thrilled with it.  Mostly, she's been pissed that she has to crawl to get at what she wants.  Several of the first videos we got were of her crying and crawling.  Luckily, we got a pleasant one to put on the blog!

Poor thing has a mama that just loves a monogram!  She is destined for embroidery until she can fight me about what she's wearing.
Too cute for words!
Hayes has learned to apply temporary tattoos and shared his skills with Fisher.  Both boys had tattoos up and down their arms!

We had Hayes' 5th birthday party today at Bounce Town.  This is the third year in a row we've had it there.  The kids all love it, but I need to get a little more creative with winter/inside birthday party ideas. Maybe some place different next year...  Here is the invite to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed party: (Hayes begged for this to be the theme.  He didn't even know it was a tv show!  His friends taught him about the ninja turtles at school and they always pretend to be the different turtles while they're playing.  That just goes to show us that we can't control everything he's exposed to.  And if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!)
Cupcakes and Toppers:
Favor bags with felt masks, stickers, and...
Homemade glow in the dark green slime!!!!

Campbell's not really into purees these days, but prefers table food.  We didn't want to give her pizza and cupcakes, so she had a special lunch packed:
