Playground and outside fun

We spend as much time as possible outside these days to try to burn off some of that legendary boy energy.  Hayes and Fisher love being outside! (and we love tiring them out so they'll nap well!)

Fisher has started trying to copy his older brother.  He sees Hayes do something and tries to do it himself, like climbing this ladder that he is clearly not big enough to do:

Over the summer, Hayes finally learned to get enough momentum to pedal the tricycle on his own.  Just in time to outgrow it!  His knees almost touch the handlebars each time around:
Hayes and Fisher have been getting a lot of use out of their playscape.  Fisher's favorite is the slide.  He is fearless (uh oh...) and loves to go down on his belly:

The boys love to play with balls, scooters, bikes, etc. in the yard and in the driveway.  Hayes is great at kicking and throwing balls and is getting better at catching them.  Ever mimicking his brother, Fisher has begun walking behind and kicking the soccer ball and just loves to throw, roll, and can even catch balls!

Just being silly:
