One of the boys' favorite things to do is play on the couch, whether it be wrestling, tickling, bouncing...
or playing hide and seek:
As you can see, Fisher loves to find the person hiding. The best is when he is surprised by one of us jumping out at him. His expression is priceless--a mixture of shock and delight. I wasn't quite able to capture his expression up close in these videos, you can tell he's having a great time!
Guess which older brother taught him to do this?Yep, that's the one!
We finally switched Fisher out of the infant bucket carseat into the "big boy" convertible seat (although he was still under the weight and height restrictions to fit in the infant seat). Here he is trying it out in the living room:
Watching college football together:
They are finally of the age where they are starting to actually play together (that is, when one of them isn't snatching a toy from the other one...):
Fisher loves to climb up and now back down the stairs by himself. The funniest thing is that we have a downward slope in our backyard and instead of walking down it, Fisher turns around, gets on his hands and knees, and crawls backwards down the "hill," just like he would on the stairs. I guess it would look pretty steep to a one year old!
Hiding out in the cabinet behind the pull-out trashcan:
I love to dress the boys nicely when we're going out in public. Even if they're just going to school and going to get filthy playing outside. Clothes are made to be worn, right? Here they are looking "dapper:"

Inadvertently matching one morning:
