Here's our little guy wearing a "smedium" shirt for his weekly picture. This is a reminder of how quickly he is growing---and out-growing some of the newborn clothing already! Nothing really exciting went on this week---we have been busy just getting into a routine.
I finally finished decorating Fisher's room. Here are the pics:
Crib bedding:
(Notice the Pottery Barn black-out curtains that I am in love with! They do a fantastic job of blocking the sunlight out of this usually really bright room.)
Out-take of the weekly picture---Our friends Emily and Dave once caught their daughter Lily in a similar state of spitting-up, so this is an homage to them. And congrats are in order for the birth of their second daughter, Caroline!
Fisher was very cooperative for a lengthy photo-shoot the other day. I was determined to get a fabulous pic for his birth announcement.

Look how light his hair is when it's freshly clean---it almost has a reddish tint to it:

Just monkeyin' around:

A few of the girls I work with came to visit and meet Fisher. They brought some lovely gifts and were thoroughly entertained by Hayes. Here is Keyla showing Hayes a video:
Hayes gave Annette a used sticker. Isn't he so generous?

"Auntie" June holding Fisher:

The other night, Hayes was in the bathtub and he leaned back towards Kyle and said, "Daddy, I need your arms around me." When he says things like that, we don't consider him to be in the "terrible 2's," but in the "TERRIFIC 2's!"

All the pictures tuckered the little fella out!
Dreaming of puppy-dogs and ice cream!

We bought some deck furniture from IKEA so we can finally enjoy our back deck. It has been nice enough in the evenings to sit outside for dinner.
I don't know who enjoys the pool more, Hayes or Kyle! Here is Kyle getting some love:

Here is Hayes trying out the exersaucer. Just before I got the camera ready, he was actually sitting in it, the little monkey! I have a feeling Hayes will be showing Fisher how to work everything when he is old enough to get in it!
Here's a parting shot of Puddy squished comfortably (?) in a small box. Weirdo...

I have to say Fisher is looking very much like a Hadden. The photo of him sleeping and smiling...is all Butch.
Yall are doing a GREAT job from the looks of things. Both boys are so precious and growing so fast!!~ Hayes is a little man and Fisher is simply adorable. (the smiling photo is priceless)
Love you all
Momma Donnie
Alison, I love this post! I love the nursery, I love the week pic out take, and I love how chubby Fisher's cheeks are getting!
I think Fisher was dreaming of puppies and the bandaid truck ;)
