This week has been a week of getting back into a routine. Hayes is liking being indoors right now. After getting 12 inches of snow total, we tried to give him his first snow experience. I think we have realized that Hayes does not enjoy being cold. He cried from about two minutes after going outside until about ten minutes after getting back inside and getting warmed up. That being said, there are many pictures of snow outside our house but very few with Hayes and none with a happy Hayes.

Emily, this picture is for you---we saw some deer this morning in the side yard---it fits the Stranger in the Woods book perfectly!
Kyle's parents flew in last night to spend the Christmas holidays with us. Kyle's brother, Kevin, will fly in on Christmas Eve. We're sad not to be with my family this year but super happy that Kyle's made the trip to be with us!

OH MY GOSH....he is soooooo adorable!!! You know I've heard that when they walk early (nine months is early for boys) it means they're moving along making it easy for the next one coming....what do ya think? He'd make an awesome big brother. Happy Holidays to you all
