East Coast Trip Part IV

We spent the last several days in Greenville at Kyle's parents' house. It has been nice and relaxing. Hayes has enjoyed learning to crawl and playing in a special toy basket made just for the grandbabies. Wednesday, we went to the Downtown Greenville area to look around and do a little shopping. Here are a few pics: Where's the baby and why did Grandmomma get stuck with the stroller? There he is! (tired of getting pushed in the stroller)Busy in the toy basket:
On a walk:

Friday, we met with our friend (Jon) Tucker, his wife Abbey, and their daughter, Aspen (22 months). Kyle and Tucker played baseball together at Wofford. We've gotten to see him only a few times over the past few years, so it was a treat to see them!

Yesterday, we drove up to Asheville to spend the day and night with Anna, Sam, and Mary Hudson. Emily, Dave, and Lily joined us for dinner to celebrate my birthday (31!!!) and Dave's early birthday. We had a wonderful time seeing our friends and introducing them to Hayes. Here are a few pics:

The babes:Miss Anna gave Hayes and new treat--a frozen banana to suck on. He LOVED it and loved getting it everywhere. Note the sticky face in the next pic.
A bath with MH, who wasn't too excited about having the bath immortalized:
On our way back to Greenville today, we stopped by Wofford. For those of you who do not know, Kyle and I met at Wofford and spent four terrific years there while getting an outstanding education. It's difficult to believe that we graduated over 8 years ago! The campus was as gorgeous as ever:

Old Main My Boys on campus:While at Wofford, I always enjoyed the walk through these trees in the fall:
Tomorrow, we are leaving Greenville to drive back home (weird saying that about our new home in CT) . We would have liked to stay another day or so, but we are trying to dodge several winter storms forecast for the northeast. Wish us luck for a quiet and safe journey!
