Week Six

Week Six has been much the same as the past few weeks with lots of sleeping, eating, etc.  The biggest milestone that makes Kyle and me very, very happy is that Campbell has smiled at us a few times.  These are not the "I'm half asleep and my belly is full" smiles, these are the "I recognize you and that ridiculously silly voice you're using" smiles.  Yay!  It's so nice when an infant starts giving a little bit back after the small feat of providing for all their wants and needs... Of course, there were no smiles to be had for this week's picture, but who needs a smile when you have such a pretty baby to model the beautiful outfit that "Aunt Cassie" sent?!

Here is Hayes showing off one of the Pinterest recipe projects we tackled last weekend: homemade Jell-O pudding pops.  Remember those from the early nineties?  They were AWESOME!  And these homemade treats were pretty good and pretty easy.  Gotta love pinterest!
 Freezer full of pudding pops:
Last weekend's weather was not the greatest.  And it's not super fun to have a four year old boy and a two year old boy cooped up inside.  So, one afternoon, Kyle took them outside just as the rain started.  They ended up setting up their chairs to watch the rain:
Fisher is no longer officially the baby of the house, but he still thinks he is (and that is OK with me---he is a mama's boy!).  Every night, when I'm putting him to bed, I ask him if he's my big boy or my baby and every night, he answers, "Baby!"  It is going to hurt my heart when he finally answers, "big boy."  Here he is in the baby swing:
Hayes finds every opportunity to love on Campbell:

 I caught a smile!!!

Baby Girl, just hanging out:

Hayes had another singing program at school for the end of the summer.  In the past, Hayes has sat and smiled but not sung a single word during these "concerts."  This time, though, he sang every single song!  We were so proud!

And last but not least, this is a "special" one for you, Cassie!
