Week Seven

Week 7 brought visitors to Connecticut!  Kyle's parents, Betty and Butch (AKA Grandmama and Grandaddy), came up to meet Campbell.  They also came to help me out (thank goodness) while Kyle went to a conference in Canada where he was asked to do a presentation.  I was not thrilled with the prospect of 4 days/nights alone with three kiddos and Betty and Butch came to the rescue!  They enjoyed meeting their newest granddaughter and spent lots of quality time with Hayes and Fisher, taking them to the playground, bowling, movies, to get ice cream, etc.  Thank you so much for all of your help---I could not have done it without you (at least not sanely).

Campbell has been waking once a night for feedings, usually at around 3:30 or 4, then waking again at a decent time for actually getting up at 7ish.  She has been gaining control of her head and holding it up a lot more and for longer stretches.  Her crabby periods in the evenings are a little less, maybe because we've been able to figure out what makes her a little more comfortable at that time of night.  She continues to steal our hearts!

Here are a few pics of the kiddos with Betty and Butch around the house: (adventure pics to come in next week's installment.)

Doesn't Campbell look like she is close to Fisher's size?

This reminds me of "The Wizard of Oz" when the witch's feet were stuck underneath the house.  Here are Fisher's feet barely clearing the edge of the boppy!

Tickle-fest with Daddy after he got home from his trip---his laugh just makes me smile!
