What we've been up to...

We've been fairly busy the last few weeks.  Besides being super cute, Fisher has learned to clap.  He also has started mimicking things Hayes does.  For example, in the pool yesterday, Hayes was shaking the water off his head and roaring like a lion.  Fisher immediately and repeatedly shook his little head and let out the cutest little roars in response.
Fisher had his 1 year well visit with the doctor and weighed in at 17 pounds, 14 ounces (less than 1st percentile) and was 27.75 inches tall (2nd percentile).  Never mind that his head was in the 47th percentile.....can you say big noggin'???  (The doctors aren't worried and to be honest, his head doesn't look that big...)  For his adjusted age (meaning that if we calculated based on his due date of July 10th, he would only have been 10 months old at the appointment), he was in the 4th (weight), 12th (height), and 65th (head) percentiles.  Speaking of his head, Fisher graduated from helmet wear right after his birthday.  The correction was great, going from 9mm of asymmetry to 0/1mm.  We're pretty happy with the results!
Fisher is pulling up on everything these days!
He is really good at entertaining himself with toys, like this new school bus.  He busily puts the balls through the slot over and over again:

He is enjoying a much greater selection of food than Hayes ever did at this age:
Still has brilliant blue eyes like his brother:
And has learned to use a sippy cup:
Fisher is crawling all over the place, still mostly with his "pirate crawl" but more and more on both knees.
First wagon ride:
Thinking about it, but not quite ready to climb the stairs:
Still loves his mama and maybe (?) saying "ma ma" sometimes:
First taste of ice cream---and not a fan of the coldness of it, we think, but he kept coming back for more!
Hayes helped Kyle plant the garden this weekend.  We've been so jealous of our relatives down south whose veggies were planted weeks and weeks ago, but we're comforted knowing we'll be harvesting until the end of the summer.
Leaning on Daddy for support:
Now, if only we can get him to eat some of the squash, zucchini, potatoes, peppers, lima beans, green beans, tomatoes, okra, cucumbers, and lettuce they planted...
