Here they are with Hayes and Fisher in the car they bought him for his birthday:
Fisher was so cute---he knew just what to do! It came so naturally to him to sit up straight and grip the steering wheel!
Hanging out in the backyard:Fisher was a little hesitant to go to Papa Glenn and Nana Judy at first (stranger anxiety and mama devotion combined), but by the end of their visit, he was all for it, especially when enticed with a balloon, which he LOVES!
Our big project for the visit was to put together the swingset that we bought for Hayes' birthday. It took my dad and me at least 16 hours to assemble. There were absolutely no prefabricated pieces in the boxes that it came in. Even the slide had to be assembled!!! The good news is that we finished and it turned out well and we didn't kill each other in the process!
The finished product, from all angles (can you tell I'm proud of our work?):
Note the bay window above the slide--cute, right?
Hayes LOVING the see-saw swing:
Fisher's maiden voyage on the slide (disregard the weird yellow thing he has in his mouth):
Thanking Papa Glenn for his brand new swingset:
Thank you again! We miss you already!
