This week, Fisher is really getting into his purees and puffs. Now that he has finally starting eating solids, he seems much more adventurous in the food/eating department than Hayes ever was. He impatiently bangs his hand on the highchair for another puff as soon as he has finished one. He even tried a homemade puree of pasta and marinara sauce the other night. Hayes would not have touched it! Here is Fisher during one of his puff eating marathons:
Each week, Fisher seems easier with his laughs. Here is a sample: (try to watch without cracking a smile!)
Since he may not be wearing the helmet much longer, I had to go ahead and change the design so he would get some wear out of the second set of stickers that I bought. Here is the new design:
The weather is just starting to think about warming up. We can't wait to be able to take the boys outside more in just a few more weeks (I hope...). We bundled them up for a "stroller walk," as Hayes affectionately calls them, during which Fisher fell asleep:
Fisher just loves his big brother. He always watches Hayes with awe and wonder. This afternoon, Fisher was so thrilled to be sitting next to his big brother---he was smiling from ear to ear and kept leaning over to touch Hayes. I hope they always love and adore each other!
Speaking of Hayes, he has been a bit better behaved during the past week. He has done fairly well with his behavior chart and has earned several "prizes" (dollar store junk!). Needless to say, we have not had any more "sucker incidents," though I'm sure we haven't seen the last of his diaper-box-as-a-boost-up-to-the-candy-jar ingenuity...
Something we all look forward to is "visitng" with our family via webcam since we live so far away from them all. Here are my beautiful boys lined up in front of the computer talking with Grandmama and Granddaddy:
Last but not least, here is a picture of the newest additions to our family:
the entertainment stand and more importantly, the HDTV just in time for March Madness!
GO JAYHAWKS!!!
