Kyle's older brother, Casey, and his wife, Gillian, joined us with their two kids, Lilah (almost 3) and Violet (4 months). This was the first time we had met Violet---who is a beautiful, happy baby girl. The above picture of Kevin with all his nephews and nieces is going to become a yearly tradition, I think, though we need to stop having kids since he doesn't have any more lap or arm space!
Betty made Lilah and Violet's Christmas outfits as well. Isn't Violet's hat adorable?
Boy, Uncle Kevin had the right idea. He had Lilah and Hayes open the presents that he had given them first, thinking that they would only want to play with that toy and think his present was the coolest. Lilah opened up her Barbie Vet Kit and wasn't interested in opening any more presents after that first one. Kevin was the best uncle ever! Here is Gillian opening the kit for Lilah as Casey videotapes, not knowing that that was all the footage he was going to get that day of Lilah opening presents.
