Beach House Day 3

We kept the kids busy (AKA--out of trouble) for a little while with a gingerbread house kit. Surprisingly, it wasn't too messy and they enjoyed themselves (I did, too!).

My dad and uncle always cook a pig and some turkeys a few days before Christmas in my Grandma Cherry's backyard. We go up to spend some quality time with our extended family. The food is a bonus---barbecued pig fresh off the pit is wonderful but the turkey basted with my dad's vinegar based sauce is the best! Here are Cindy and Kellen:
