This week's picture was taken with Fisher's cousin, Ainsley. My brother and his family have been living in Okinawa, Japan for the last 3 years (where Cindy was stationed as a Navy nurse) and recently moved back to the states. They were brave enough to travel by car from Florida to Indiana to Connecticut (not long after moving half-way around the world) with a two year old and an infant to see us. We were thrilled to have them visit and had a blast with them. We spent some quality time with Chris, Cindy, Kellen and brand-new Ainsley.
They arrived on Friday (the last day of one of Fisher's "weeks"), so there will be much more of our visit to follow in next week's post.
Ainsley is younger than Fisher but is developmentally ahead of him. She is very smiley and happy and is longer and leaner than Fisher. She is beautiful!
My boys:

Puddy REALLY likes this bouncy seat and decided she was more than comfortable enough to share with Fisher this time:

This week, I noticed that Fisher has a receding hairline. The dark hair looks like it is thinning on top---maybe he'll lose it all, who knows?!?! Also, Hayes began showing us a neat skill he learned---walking backwards!!!! He is so proud of himself when he does it!

We pulled out our new easel that we got from IKEA so Hayes could try out some finger painting. He didn't really get the whole "finger" aspect and kept plunging his whole hand in the paint and just leaving it in there.

If you look closely, you can see a smudge of pink under his lips---the little goof tasted the finger paint! He looked at me like, "What, you haven't always wondered what it tasted like????"

I love the picture of the cat in the bouncer! Fortunately, my cats have no interest in the babies or their stuff, but if we left the bouncer out, I'm sure that one of them would eventually discover it!
You are doing a fantastic job with your camera....making memories and keeping them for your boys. Hayes is so handsome with Fisher following behind...you will have to watch the girls hovering one day!!
Love the photo announcement...love you all
