Week 27 brings more sniffles and snores. Hayes was barely finished with his last cold before he became super congested with yet another daycare cold. The good news is that while they have taken remarkably good care of Hayes, we're all excited that this is his last week. Hopefully, he'll be germ free come November in time for our move and trip down the coast. (Because who can resist kissing this gorgeous face?)
Hayes now has two teeth peeking in and he's not afraid to use them! He'll chomp down on your finger when you least expect it!
Last Saturday, we visited a local orchard and picked some tasty apples. We bought three large bags full, some of which we (meaning I) plan to use to make Hayes some applesauce. I have yet to make him homemade food. Instead, I've taken the easy way out and bought nice, neat little jars. Maybe if the applesauce goes well, I will get more adventurous and try other fruits and veggies...
Here is Hayes with his latest new veggie--carrots! He kinda looks like a scary clown in the second one, doesn't he?

I LOVE the clown picture, truly one of the most demented looking baby pictures I have ever seen. I belly laughed for a good five minutes and have decided to use it as my screen saver. Maybe Stephen King was feeding his kid carrots when the inspiration for the book "It" struck.
I can't believe Hayes has more teeth than Mary Hudson! Congrats on making his applesauce- I sure it is delicious. You are half way through the week pictures and doing a stellar job.
What a cutie!! Can't wait to see you guys again, anytime is great! Where did you go apple picking, that looks fun!
