Kyle's mom, Betty, has started a wonderful tradition of cross-stitching a birth sampler for her grandbabies. Hayes' came out beautifully! Thank you for all your hard work, Betty!
Other than being pretty excited about getting this back from the framers, we've had a low-key week. Hayes continues to smile more often and is starting to focus a little better on the toys we dangle over him. He even swats at them every once in a while. I ventured back to work, which has been OK. Hayes is staying with his nanny, Laura, and keeping her busy. He's not so much into letting her put him down for any length of time, so she's not able to get a whole lot done during the day. Sounds familiar...

Betty's crossstitch is really great;an excellent rendition of a green sea turtle juvenile/hatchling. Hayes just keeps getting cuter every day although some may question my objectivity.
I can't stand how cute the picture by the sampler is. Every time I look at it, he looks like a little leprechaun getting ready to do a jig!
