Yesterday was my first Mother's Day and it was great! Kyle let me sleep a little more by putting the little guy back to sleep after each feeding during the night. Then, at breakfast, he surprised me with a card and an offer to go get our first family pictures taken in Kansas City. Thanks to our friend Terica's suggestion, we went to Portrait Innovations, where they took a million pictures at no sitting fee and then customized a package for us. We went back half an hour later for the printed pics--a very efficient and stress-free process. We got some great photos and will definitely go back in the future. (We've got tons of prints---plenty for all the interested relatives!) Here are a few of the photos taken (before being edited--the printed ones look better).
