Last night, we attended Jackie and Travis' wedding reception here in town. The food was some of the best wedding fare we've ever had (surprise!) and the DJ was a little sketchy (aren't they all?). Anyways, it was nice to see some of the people I work with (Jackie is a hygienist) out of the work setting and in 'real' clothes as opposed to scrubs. Kyle had good company, too--friends Adam and Clint, so he wasn't bored to tears. Adam also had a cell phone with internet access, so they were able to keep updated on the college football scores.
This was the first reception we'd been to in a while.....it seems like most everyone we know is now married. Now on to the next phase of our lives...........BABIES!!! Speaking of which, I've been feeling fine and just passed the eight week mark. I am a little put off by certain foods, am hungrier more often, and have felt a little funky every once in a while. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this may be the extent of my morning sickness. Can I be so lucky?

Alison! I am so terribly excited for you (and Kyle, of course)! Congratulations! I'm glad Anna harassed you, as well, until you created a blog, they really are a great way to stay in touch, wherever our lives take us. I'll be checking in to see how your pregnancy progresses, sounds like you're doing really well. Enjoy!
