If you could visit anywhere, where would you go? To visit my Florida cousins!
We had the party at Launch, a local trampoline park. It is so much fun! I thought Hayes would like to have a boys only party this year since he and his friends always seem to segregate when they're together. But when I asked if he'd like to invite some of the boys from Kindergarten, he said that he wanted to invite the girls from his daycare. So sweet! (I think this is also a function of Hayes not really socializing at Kindergarten. There is so much curriculum to cover in a half day that there is not much time to play. The only chance they get is about 5-10 minutes on the playground now that the weather has finally warmed up.)
The girls and boys separated almost immediately! And the girls are always much more cooperative to stand still for a picture....
Crazy boys!
Fisher and his best friend Raegan---they've been in daycare together since they were infants:
The boys on the dodgeball court:
Time for cake!
Party favors--- wild animal books, Wild Kratts bookmarks, and Adventure Passports:
Special books for the littlest:
This is the first year that we've allowed Hayes to receive gifts at his party since we invited less kids. Here he is with all his loot----almost everything had to do with Legos, his latest favorite:
Hayes got a brand new bicycle WITHOUT training wheels and has been practicing riding and doing pretty well!
Look who climbed up all by herself! She must have some climbing genes in common with her cousin Violet...
Hayes tried to give his mama a heart attack, but this IS pretty cool! I certainly didn't teach him to do this; I guess he learned by watching other older kids.
