21 Months

Our happy girl is back!  Last month's cranky baby is back to being smiley and goofy and lovable.  Although she is showing signs that the "terrible 2's" may be fast approaching.  We felt like the boys were quite a bit easier to distract at this age, whereas Campbell's attention is very focused on whatever it is that she wants.right.NOW!  She is definitely not easy to distract.  Let's just say that she's very tenacious.  She LOVES to be outside and will look out the window and say, "ou-side," not caring that it's windy and 30 degrees.  She also loves to put on her or her brothers snow boots and swing in her pink swing.  In this month's pictures (I couldn't choose one), Campbell is playing on our swingset.
Campbell has been using the potty once or twice a day on and off for a couple months now.  We're trying not to push/rush her, but the thought of being diaper free after 6 years is sweet!  When we flush the potty, we say, "bye bye pee pee!" and Campbell punctuates it with a big, loud kiss (muuahhhhh) like she does when she's telling one of us goodbye or goodnight.

Here are Daddy and Daddy's girl reading a book together:
Watching a video on the ipad while Kyle makes dinner (Campbell sat just long enough for a picture):
Special bubble bath one night:
New sunglasses for all the kiddos:

We went up to NH a couple weekends ago and I took Hayes skiing again, probably the last time of the season.  He was more confident and did better each time we came down the mountain.  Here he is at lunch showing off his first Gatorade ever:
And here he is doing a practice jump.  I was completely freaked out about him attempting the jump and refused to let him the first few times he asked.  I finally gave in and he did great! I can't wait to see how well he'll do next season!
Campbell is obsessed with taking off all her baby dolls' clothes.  Here she is trying to put Raggedy Andy's clothes on herself:
And she insisted on putting on Fisher's underwear one night after bath.  And yes, that is a q-tip she's got up her nose.  Bad parenting award #2136----but I thought it'd be great for future blackmail:
First day of March Madness.  Hayes is very serious about his basketball watching:
Speaking of blackmail.... here is the beginning of a story that Hayes wrote at school:
Ugh, won't the snow melt already?!?!  This is the last bit in our backyard that doesn't get much sun during the day.  The snow doesn't slow the kids down, though:
Hayes taught Campbell how to swing on her belly:
Pretty girl:
Cheeky monkey:
