20 Months

Campbell had a little bit of a rough month.  She had a couple bad colds with some fevers mixed in, which made for a cranky girl.  This month's picture took many attempts before we got her to smile.
I took Hayes skiing for the first time at a nearby "mountain" here in CT.  He was a little hesitant at first but then got the hang of it.  He did great and loved it!
On the magic carpet:
After our first day of skiing:

Hayes liked skiing enough and asked when he could go again, so we bought him his own set of used skis and boots, a helmet, and goggles.  Here he is on ski day #2, where he did even better than the first day:
Kyle and I got a babysitter for the littlest kiddos one Sunday and we took Hayes for a third ski day.  He was less cautious and so fell a bit more, but we all still had a great time.  We are excited about the prospect of teaching all the kids to ski and enjoying the winter weather as much as possible.

Fisher wanted to try the ski helmet on:
Little ones with ski goggles--- so stinking cute!

Look who finally has enough hair for the tiniest pony tail on the planet!
Little Miss has become obsessed with coloring.  She climbs up in the chairs at the table and says, "color, color, colorin" until we get her some crayons and paper.  She has a much longer attention span for sitting and coloring than the boys ever had at this age.
When we ask Campbell how big she is, she'll raise her hands up to mean, "SOOO BIGGG!"

Here is a video I took trying to get her to say "color," which she finally did, but spent most of the video saying "cheese" for the camera:
We've been walloped with snow this February, making for a couple snow days, or "stay home days," as the kids call them.  Here is Fisher mowing the snow:
Making snowballs:
All bundled up:
My little munchkins:
Mohawks and spikes all around:
Hayes played basketball this season for our town.  He did really well and enjoyed it.
Using all of his might to shoot a basket:
With his team and Coach Kevin:
After bath every night, Campbell wants to brush her crazy hair:
Pretty girl on Valentine's Day:
We made Ninja-bread cookies on one of our snow-days.  Don't worry, I didn't come up with this idea myself.... it was a kit I bought at the store.  The kids all had a blast making and decorating them:

"Reading" together on the couch:
The kids' Valentines for their friends:
Valentine's Day dinner of pink milk, pink yogurt with red sprinkles, and heart shaped cheese slices and chocolate chip pancakes:
Glow-in-the-dark bath one night:
Sweet girl wearing Hayes' hat.  She loves her brothers, or "bwutha" as she calls them.
Campbell and I took a quick weekend trip to Charleston for my Dental School Homecoming/10 year reunion.  Campbell still flies for free until she's two, though she was less than fun to have on my lap for one of our four flights (had to do with an overtired toddler way past nap time).  Campbell spent some quality time with Papa Glenn and Nana Judy and was thoroughly entertained by her cousins Lawson and Dailyn, who was especially good with her.  Here she is coloring with Aunt Stephanie and Dailyn:
The weather was a heavenly respite from the arctic New England we've been stuck in.  Campbell got to go on several stroller walks with Papa Glenn:

Hayes on his first day of skiing:
And last but not least, two outtakes for the monthly picture that didn't quite make the cut....one of our not-so-happy camper and one with the blocks turned backwards.
