Halloween 2013

We had the boys take off their shirts so they wouldn't get messy as we carved the pumpkin this year.  Turns out we had nothing to worry about---neither one of them wanted to touch the "disgusting guts!"  Hayes did want to hold the sharp carving knives, though, and couldn't understand why I wouldn't let him.  Silly boys!
 Special Halloween breakfast:

 Our Minions and Owl:
Gru and his Minions (from the movie Despicable Me, for the readers that aren't familiar):
All of us dressed up for trick-or-treating:
 The first house:
 Campbell's first (of two) trick-or-treats:
Hayes had a blast with our neighbor, Hank.  They ran from house to hosue and we could barely keep up!  Fisher trick-or-treated at about 10 houses and then was content to ride in the wagon the rest of the evening.
 Riding in style:
Back at our house, Hayes and Fisher got to pick out one snack to eat.  Fisher picked a pack of cookies and Hayes a bag of fruit snacks.  They were happy as clams!
 What a sweet owl!
Back when we picked apples, the boys posed in front of a Minion hay statue as a tribute to their Halloween costumes:
Fisher and Hayes with Hank one afternoon--- how cute was it that Hank was wearing his skeleton shirt the same day as the boys!?!?
All in all, it was a great Halloween.  Everyone had a wonderful day!
