Week 42

Cruising has officially begun, though it is very slow and stilted.  Miss Campbell loves to pull up on everything and is becoming more curious about her surroundings. She especially loves pulling things out of cabinets, boxes, bags, off of shelves, etc.  What fun it is watching a baby in the throes of discovery!
She has even started putting things back into a container and then pulling them out again, like, "wow, it's there just where I put it!"

"What book should I read now????"
Wearing Fisher's first birthday "Hungry Caterpillar" pants with a brand new "Beautiful Butterfly" onesie we ordered:
Campbell found herself again in the bathroom mirror.  This time, she was trying her best to kiss and love on herself!

So, we have had a total of 2 spring days so far.... And no, I'm not bitter/jealous/etc at all... But here is Fisher showing me his "sword" on one of these nice days when we could actually play comfortably in the yard after work/daycare:
Campbell helping to "organize" the tupperware:
 And loading the dishwasher:
The biggest news for Fisher lately is that he has transitioned to a "big boy bed" finally (sniff, sniff---my baby boy is growing up).  Here are the boys helping to take apart the crib:
 Bye, bye crib!
And the toddler bed now in its place:
Fisher is doing really well in it so far.  He knows that he can get up, because we've watched him do so on the monitor, but he gets right back in bed after going to get something.  He stays in bed in the morning, calling for one of us to "come wake me up!" or the more pleasant "I have boogers!"  He has not, however, realized the power that comes with his being able to get into and out of bed.  Any day now, he's going to get up and not go back down, or get up a gagillion times a night, all because he can...  We're trying to enjoy our sleep before this transformation inevitably occurs!

I can't believe how big she's getting! I think she'll be walking before Emerson. Can't wait to get all of these kids together again!
