Week 24

Christmastime is fast approaching---my favorite time of year!  I am trying to keep all the traditions going and adding new ones, but I will say that having three kids and working full time (even with the most helpful husband EVER), mean that some things are going to have to wait until next year (or the next, or the next).  We are baking only one kind of cookie this year instead of my regular 4-6 different types.  Pictures will come next week. We went to the annual Winterfest (Christmas tree lighting and firetruck parade) in our town square and saw a light show that a town resident puts on at his house.  He has three 1/2 hour shows, nightly, of lights coordinated to music.  We enjoyed it and are going again tonight!

Fisher is telling me only half the time now that he is my baby, the other times he says he's my "big boy."  How wonderful and sad at the same time. Apparently, he was feeling like a baby this day:
Hayes wearing his hooded towel as a Batman cape:
So, of all the weekly and monthly pictures we've taken of the kids, we have only once ever messed up and thought we were on a different week.  We took Campbell's pic with last week's blocks---oops!  Only when I sat down to put this post together did I notice.  Back to the drawing board---we had to take new pics!  Here is Campbell trying squash for the first time. She was not too sure if she liked the taste....
but happily kept going back for more!
I turned "29" this week and celebrated with a very busy day at work---ugh.  But I came home to sweet boys and husband wishing me a happy birthday.  Here is my super cool gift of a milkshake blender!

A patient made these mice out of chocolate covered cherries and hershey's kisses---how cute!
Sweet girl is getting very good at reaching purposefully and bringing things to her mouth.  No teeth yet, though.
Look what I found online!  She'll be able to wear it next fall, I think!
Naughty Spooky Cat in the freezer with ice cream:
We took the boys shopping to buy gifts for each other.  As Kyle walked through Toys R Us with Fisher, he kept loudly pointing to things and saying, "I like batman!, I like soccer ball!, I like Captain America! I like dinosaurs!"  He was so excited and finally said, "I like EVERYTHING!"  That assures that he'll like the gift that Hayes and I picked out for him!
