Week 23 has brought the Christmas spirit to our household! We have decorated the house (inside only so far) and have gotten some shopping done. My bestie, Anna, sent the boys an "Elf on the Shelf" who Hayes named Spooky Cat (um, yeah, he's 4...). Christmas is going to be so wonderful this year!
Here is another Pinterest project---a fake American Cookie Company cake. It was NOT what we had hoped, but still edible. Not every Pinterest recipe/idea is a huge success.
Shopping for our Christmas tree:
Hayes "helping" Kyle put the tree on the car---- he really feels like the big boy in the house now that he has a younger brother and a younger sister.
Helping me decorate the tree:
The boys were so excited to find the ornaments that were "theirs," sent in previous years by Grandmama and Grandaddy.
Fisher was showing Campbell the interesting points of the activity mat:
Campbell tried cereal for the first time! She actually ate some of it, though we weren't sure if she was more interested in the cereal or chewing on the soft surface of the spoon.
Here are the first few places that "Spooky Cat" was perched when we woke up in the morning. Hayes especially is thrilled with the Elf!
