Week Zero

Campbell was very well behaved in the hospital. She was quite the charmer---the night nurses fought over who got to hold her in the nursery.  They were even pairing her off with a cutie-pie newborn boy named Griffin!

She is always stretching:

Ah, contentment:

Kyle and I didn't know what to do with ourselves in the hospital.  We never have that much quiet time!  Kyle actually got quite a bit of reading done.

We looked forward to the boys visiting with Papa Glenn and Grammie (we're trying this name out instead of Nana Judy), who drove up from SC to keep the boys and to spend our first several days at home with Campbell.  Here was the boys' first meeting with their baby sister.  Hayes wanted to kiss her and hold her and so it naturally followed that Fisher wanted to hold her as well.

Meeting Grammie for the first time:

And Papa Glenn:
Holding and kissing Campbell---if we had a dollar for every time Hayes has kissed his baby, we'd have at least $100 already!
"I hold da baby," Fisher kept saying over and over until he got to hold her.

He was SO proud!

2nd turn:

Inspecting her feet:

I fear this will not be the last of the poking and prodding!
What a great little sister Campbell is---she brought her big brothers some presents (thanks for the idea, Cindy!):
