Hayes lost his tail after the second house, but other than that, trick or treating was a huge success! Fisher was game for the whole outing and Hayes was only scared by one demented neighbor in a grim reaper costume (what idiot gets his kicks out of scaring the hell out of a toddler???). Hayes still doesn't understand the whole concept of the trick or treating part, though. He ate none of his candy and when he got home, he emptied his bag of goodies into the bin of candy for us to give out to the other kids. Maybe next year, he'll get it. But oh, I don't look forward to those future Halloween nights when he's cracked out on sugar!
