At Grandma Betty and Granddaddy Butch's House

Here are a few more pictures from our stay in Greenville, including this one of Hayes and Lilah with their Uncle Kevin. Kevin got a bubble making gun for Christmas so he could charm his little niece and nephew, and boy did it work!!!

We visited a playground near the Greenville Zoo. Hayes and Lilah loved the slide!

Hayes' maiden voyage on a 'big boy' swing (one without him being strapped in). He did great, especially with me hovering in the back ground saying, "hold on tight, Hayes, and don't let go!" over and over again...

This wooden contraption is a really neat highchair/rocking horse/desk combo, depending on which way it is turned. Hayes wanted to copy Lilah, so Butch had the brilliant idea of a stool at the back for Hayes to sit on. They both "wrote" up a storm:

Betty and Butch treated us to a trip to the new Greenville Children's Museum. Here is a special toddler section appropriately titled "Grandma Betty's Farm:"

Driving a mini bulldozer:

Operating a crane:

By placing his hands on this, Hayes could hear his heartbeat echoed in the sound of a drum (with Grandmomma's help):

In Cinderella's pumpkin coach with Lilah:

On another slide with Lilah (and no, he's way too polite to be pushing Lilah out of his way; I think he was making sure the slide was safe for her before she slid down...):

There was this neat water play area for the kids. Hayes absolutely refused to wear a waterproof apron, so here he is completely soaked (good thing we brought an extra outfit--Thanks Butch!):

Lilah playing daintily in the water-- note that she was the wonderfully cooperative child wearing an apron:
