As for Hayes' development, he is now showing us body parts, using a spoon (and sometimes fork) to mostly successfully feed himself, and he's climbing all over the place. He has learned to pull himself up onto his toy chest (as shown in this month's pictures) and then catapults himself over the arm of the couch to land on the cushions. I think we'll find a different place for the toy chest in the new house Lastly, while Hayes still harbors a strange obsession with spoons (and shovels), he has become fairly attached to his shoes as well! He gets pretty pissed when we try to take them off---so they stay on most of the time, right up until bath time!

16 Months
This month's pic is a little but "white trashy" with Hayes stripped down to his diaper. However, it is like a sauna in our house right now---80 degrees, humid as heck, and no air conditioning! It's a good thing no one we know stops by to see us out here in the country---because if they did, they might catch us all in our bare minimums! The great news is that we close on our new house in two days--YAY!!!! We'll post pics of the house after closing and after we begin to move in.
