Hayes turned 15 months old on June 25th, which was also the first day of his two-week vacation with his grandparents while Kyle and I visited Chris, Cindy, and Kellen in Okinawa. Hayes spent half the time with Betty and Butch (Kyle's parents) and half the time with Glenn and Judy (my parents). He also got to spend some time with some aunts, uncles, and cousins that he had not seen since Thanksgiving. He had a great time---as evidenced by how exhausted he was and how late he slept each day for them (WAY later than he ever sleeps for us, that little turkey!). Thank you to all those who watched over and entertained Hayes while we were gone---especially Betty, Butch, Mom, and Dad for keeping our precious boy safe and sound!
The task of putting together some blog posts about our trip to Japan and Hayes' trip to SC is a little daunting, especially with jet-lag---so I'll do a little at a time. We have some great pics, so be patient and keep checking back for more posts!
