Week 32

WE ARE MOVING!!!

We will remember our house fondly in that it was our first home and the place where we brought our firstborn home from the hospital. In this week's picture, Hayes sits in our empty house. The packers came on Monday and efficiently boxed up our lives in a matter of a few hours. All of our belongings were loaded onto the truck today. (It's crazy how ALL of our stuff fits into one-fourth of an eighteen wheeler.) We tearfully say goodbye to our wonderful home!
Happy Hayes on loading day:

Goodbye Carson Place, Park West Neighborhood, Ken and Carol and Peaches, Nona, Kelly and Luke and Taylor, Allison and Mike and baby boys, "J" and Melodi and Coley and Gina and Melissa and Vicky and Megan and Jodi and Barb and Katie and Marcia and Jackie (and baby Ty) and Jackie and Ashley and Jim and Ben and Tyler and Amanda at ETDA, Kim and Adam, Sara and Emmy, KU, Allen Fieldhouse, our Jayhawks, Scarlet Orchid, Bunco Group, Laura (Hayes' nanny), Blagg Lab, and every other aspect of Lawrence that we've loved.

By next week's post, we'll be in our new (rental) home in Connecticut. Wish us luck and an uneventful move!

Hayes on the lawn while I wrapped some things up in the garage----the grass was fascinating to him---so much so that I wasn't able to get him to look at the camera:
We took Hayes by "his" restaurant:
Hayes got to say goodbye to Laura, his summer Nanny:
P.S.--don't worry---we voted last week!!!!!

I can't believe that it's moving day already. I hope that you and Hayes have a good flight. I'm sure that Kyle and the kitty cats will do just fine, and before you know it you'll all be re-united in CT. Good luck with everything! I can't wait to see you guys and to meet your little man in a few weeks!
Love, Cindy
