Week 15

This week's pic shows the huge pile of books that Hayes owns. We hope that he enjoys reading as much as we always have. In week 15, Hayes has mastered the art of pouting---jutting his lower lip out and making it quiver a little. We can't help but crack up at how silly he looks! Also, he's gotten really good at holding his head up without support, as evidenced by sitting in his Bumbo chair for the weekly photo shoot.



Last Sunday, we had some neighbors over for dinner. Kelly and Luke have a beautiful one-month old daughter, Taylor. We had so much kindness sent our way when Hayes was first born and decided to spread some to our new-parent neighbors by cooking them dinner. We know how easy it is to just eat greasy burgers or sandwiches instead of making a meal when you have an infant to tend to. We hope to share several more dinners together as we get to know Kelly, Luke and Taylor. (Doesn't Hayes look like he has a little crush on Taylor with that sly smile of his?)

Our next posting may be a little late in coming since we had a little accident with our camera this morning. The good news is that it looks like I'll be getting that nicer, faster camera a little sooner than planned!
