Hayes has continued to progress with holding his head up and steady and with his smiling and "el-gaaas." His feet and hands have gotten noticable bigger. He now loves to "stand" up on our laps (with lots of under arm support) and is definitely developing stronger leg muscles. We are not sure how much he weighs, but will find out at his next check-up this Friday.
Hayes has visited the pool twice this week already with his nanny, Laura. She is very protective of him and seems to really enjoy staying with him. She was a great find! Unfortunately, Hayes' mother (me, hee-hee) is a little dense.... I bought him some "Little Swimmers" diapers for the pool and was so hung up on getting the right size that I bought ones with the Little Mermaid all over them! Poor kid.
Last Sunday, we had some visitors----Kyle's beautifully pregnant cousin Heather, her husband Heath, and their 5 year old son, Hayden. Here is a picture of Hayden practicing holding a baby, so he can be ready for his little brother's debut:
Tonight, we went to Kyle's last softball game of the season. Our French friend Geraldine was there and enjoyed holding and feeding Hayes.
Hayes and Kyle, making googly eyes at each other...
Hayes in the Bumbo chair, looking way older than he is, in my opinion...

Oh, he's so adorable! It's crazy how quickly they change from a pink and wrinkly newborn. He looks so BIG compared to our little man. I can't wait to get the two of them together at Thanksgiving! Love and miss you!
