OB Appointment Today

Hi everyone! So, Kyle and I went in for my first appointment with my OB today. We asked questions, got a bag o' goodies, and got to listen to the heartbeat!!!! Yay! I was worried that we wouldn't be able to hear the heartbeat through my buddha belly (NOT due to pregnancy--a preexisting condition). However, the nurse practitioner who saw us didn't give up and we heard it! It's 170 bpm. Then, I went to the lab to donate some blood for the cause (lab work). I used to get nervous and creeped out by giving blood, but after giving it all the time at the fertility doctor's office, it's no big deal anymore. I even watch them stick the needle in! Anyways, now we wait another 4 weeks before going back to the doctor. In the meantime, we're walking about 4 times a weeek and I'm trying to eat more vegetables, though this is no small feat since anyone who knows me knows how much I detest pretty much everything green. Keep your fingers crossed for us that the next month will go smoothly as well!
