Week 47

Campbell is standing next to the dogwood tree that my sweet office staff gave us as a gift when Campbell was born 11 months ago. We weren't sure if it would bloom the first year it was planted, but it did and it's delicate little blooms are beautiful, just like our Campbell!

This past Sunday was Mother's Day, the day that Campbell took her first few steps while her Grandmama, Grandaddy, and I all looked on. What a special gift she gave us!  She has only taken a few more steps here and there (a few for Kyle), which is fine with us.  Hopefully, she won't really take off for another month or so!

Betty, Butch and I went to see Hayes sing songs at school for "Muffins with Moms."  Hayes still refuses to sing the songs while they practice with their teacher, but he does great singing during the actual presentation.  He made me so proud!  Here he is giving me my Mother's Day gift, a potholder with his handprint and a sheet with information about me, including my age of 29 years (I've taught him well!):
Don't feed the animals!!!

Campbell pulled these balloons all around the house:
The "Buddy" Dinosaur Train balloon was taller than Fisher!!!
Fisher helped me open my Mother's Day gifts, a summer robe and an ipad!
Campbell made me a special bookmark at daycare:
This Mama's heart is full!
Grandaddy the jungle gym:

Giving kisses:

"Lounging" in the hammock (as restful as it can be with random kicks, elbows to the ribs, and earring pulls):
Fisher in action with the jet pack Aunt Cindy made him back at Christmastime:
It made him go so much faster!!!
