Our 6 month old had her check-up on the 4th. She weighed in at 15 lbs, 10.5 oz. (35th percentile), measured 26.5 inches long (75th %), and her head was 43 cm (65th %). This week, we noticed that her hair is beginning to grow a little. Her head feels just a tiny bit more fuzzy when we kiss it---so hopefully that means she'll be able to wear hairbows eventually! She is also sooooo close to cutting her lower front teeth. They are right below the surface and she's drooling like a champ. Lastly, Campbell has transitioned to sleeping in her crib finally. She had been sleeping in her carseat for months, which was nice in that it kept her upright to aid with congestion and reflux. Her sleeping was pretty well disrupted (as was ours) on vacation and that continued once we were home. She seemed less comfy in her carseat nest. Perfect time to switch to the crib, right? She has done beautifully so far (ack, hope I didn't jinx it for tonight...).
In other news, Kyle and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary on the 4th as well. How lucky I am to have such a wonderful man beside me for the past 10 years to weather two doctorate degrees, four states, four moves, two houses (we've owned), four children, many tears, and much more laughter. Here's to 40 more!
The boys were thrilled with the rubbermaid bins I brought home to organize the basement. They played with them for quite a while, stacking them, pushing them, climbing in them, etc. Who needs Christmas toys?!?!
Awww, brotherly love...
This is the depository for Campbell anytime we're upstairs and need both hands:
Hayes sat with Campbell for a bit and read her a book, until she tried to eat it...
The last Christmas present the boys received from us was a bounce house. It can be used indoors or out. This will be a huge hit this winter---the boys can expend some of their crazy energy for the months when they aren't able to play outside.
Happy girl:
Hanging out on the couch:Yum, yum, toes are so tasty!
We got a package from Anna, Mary Hudson, Laura Cooper, and Mama Donnie with homemade crayons spelling out the kids' names. How cool!
