Week 21

 We are pretty low on pictures this week because we had two sick children.  Hayes had strep throat, missed two days of daycare, and is on antibiotics.  Luckily, he only had a sore throat and was a little pale but his energy level was just fine.  Campbell stayed home one day with a bad cold (RSV) but was cleared to go back to daycare since she never ran a fever. Poor thing sounds awful, though---she's coughing like a trucker! 

Hayes has really been learning a lot in the preschool room at daycare.  His latest skill is learning to add.  He uses his fingers to count the numbers so he can only go up to ten! It's pretty cool to watch the lightbulbs coming on!  He said the cutest thing the other day while we were shopping.  He looked behind me in the dairy section and asked me why I didn't buy the chocolate ones. I though, "The chocolate ones????," as I turned around to look at what he was talking about.  I cracked up when I saw the brown eggs in the case.  Brown milk is chocolate, so why wouldn't brown eggs be chocolate, right?

We went to Hayes' best buddy's b-day party today.  His party favor was this really cool super hero cape.  He kept running through the house asking if the cape was flying out behind him.

 Bath time!
